The seawall of Stanley Park includes a portion of an IBA, an important bird area. This area is a home to many species including the Western Grebe, Double-crested Cormorant, Barrow's Goldeneye, thousands of Surf Scoters, and more.

These photos were taken on Friday November 22 and on the Stanley Park Ecology Societies Annual Winter Waterbird survey on Sunday November 24 2013. They are divided into three groups. The first group are photos from both days of species that were seen on both days, the second group has photos of birds that I just saw on the seawall count (Sunday November 24), and the third group of photos are birds that I just saw on Friday November 22 2013.
